Visitor Parking and Permit Dispenser Locations

A valid UCD permit is required to park on campus. Daily Visitor Permits (VP) are available for $6 (through June 30, 2010) and may be purchased from permit dispensing machines located at the entrances to VP Lots 2, 5, 15, 17, 22, 24, 25, 30, 31, 35, 40, 47, 47A, 49, 50, 53, 55, 56, 57, 81, Putah Creek Lodge, and the North, South, and West Entry Parking Structures. Visitors also have the option of purchasing a multi-use visitor permit (up to 10 uses) or a Comet from the TAPS office.

Visitor permits are valid for the date purchased and are honored in the above lots Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost of Visitor parking permits is not refundable. Permits should be displayed on the driver’s side dashboard of the vehicle. Visitor permits are not honored in restricted spaces.

After 5pm, Visitor Permits are also available for $6 from permit dispensing machines located at many of the entrances to "A" Permit parking lots. These permits are valid in non-restricted parking spaces and at meters Monday through Friday, and are valid only on the night purchased. Permit dispensers accept coin, $1 and $5 bills, and credit cards.

Parking Meters are available to any motor vehicle for the time purchased by coin (or when a Comet is displayed and in use), not to exceed the length of time posted for the area. Meter feeding is prohibited. The vehicle must be moved when the maximum time has elapsed.
